We try to emphasize clarity, ease of use, and depth & accuracy of information over "bells and whistles." Our design philosophy is to try to keep the focus on the visual art we hope you are here to look at and read about, so we try to keep additional graphics to a minimum (by the way, we think we are justifiably proud of the Virtual Museum you see on our home page; if you have any views on that, do air them in the feedback box below).
